    This 1.5" wide handcrafted Italian leather martingale collar slips over the head and rests easy until the leash draws tight. Made for Pit Bulls, Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire, Boxers, and bigger Frenchies — or any dog with the neck to carry it — it closes on polished stainless steel or brass chain.

    Sizing & Measuring

    (See martingale measuring guide photo.) Since every collar is made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for sizing issues — so please measure before you order. Because this collar slips over the head, you need two measurements: with your dog standing on all fours, wrap a soft tape measure snugly around the neck, then measure around the widest part of the head at the ears. The collar must open wide enough to pass over the head and close snugly enough on the neck. Don't go by an old collar or a rough guess — accurate measurements are the only way to guarantee a perfect fit. Questions? Message us before ordering and we'll make sure you get it right.

    A martingale fits differently than a flat collar. Properly fitted, it sits comfortably loose at rest and tightens only when the leash draws tension — so send us your dog's true measurements with nothing added.
