The Brand That Built Its Reputation One Collar at a Time
Pit Bull Gear was founded in 2007 by a U.S. veteran with a single belief: powerful dogs deserve gear built to their standard. For 18 years, that belief produced handcrafted Italian leather collars, harnesses, and leashes trusted by serious dog owners across the country. Premium full grain leather. Solid brass and stainless steel hardware. Every piece built by hand and inspected before it ships.
That hasn't changed. It never will.
Why We Changed the Name — And What It Means for Your Dog
The decision to become Kingdom Collars came from the dogs themselves — or more accurately, from their owners.
We started getting calls. Not just from Pit Bull owners, but from Cane Corso owners, Mastiff owners, Rottweiler owners, and Boerboel owners. All asking the same question: "Do you make collars for my breed?"
The answer was always yes. It just took a name change to make that clear.
It also came closer to home. Our own Cane Corso, Vigor, became something of an ambassador. People would stop us on walks and ask where his leather came from — and when they found out it was ours, they wanted the same for their dog. Vigor wears Kingdom Collars. Now every dog can.
Dog owners are loyal to their breed in a way that's hard to explain unless you live it. We understood that. And we wanted every owner — whether they have a 45-pound American Bully or a 160-pound Mastiff — to feel like this brand was built for their dog specifically.
Because it was.
